The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem if you want to own one of the best robot vacuum cleaner robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving forward.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping commercial Robot vacuum. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and Commercial Robot Vacuum its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of features that you don't often see on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can tweak how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
