The Ecosy+ range comes with a Clean Burn Technology that ensures maximum heat and longevity from your fuel. This feature re-burns gasses as well as smoke produced by your logs, and sprays air on the glass and your fire to keep it clean. This means you don't have to refill your stove as often. It's one of the most cost-effective multifuel stoves on the market.

The Ash is a fantastic option due to its large ashpan that can be removed for easy maintenance. It also comes with a multi-fuel grate that lets you to burn wood or smokeless coal at the same time, and has a tertiary inlet to increase the efficiency of combustion. It is a DEFRA approved and Ecodesign-compliant stove with clearSkies level five certification, which means it emits 90 percent less emissions than a traditional open fire and 80 per cent less than a non-DEFRA exempt stove.

To calculate the power consumption you require for your home, take the volume of your room in cubic metres and divide by 14 for a room that is well-insulated, 12 for a standard-insulated room, or 10 for a room with poor insulation. Add a further 20 percent to central heating systems and a further 25 per cent for hot water use.

The company also makes stoves for houseboats, yurts and other smaller spaces. The company is committed to creating eco-friendly products and has been working to attain high standards of environmental performance with their stoves.

This model is an upgraded version of the Go Eco stove. It has a widescreen glass window for a huge flame view and has an airwash system to keep the glass clean. The stove is DEFRA approved and meets Ecodesign requirements to be classified as an 'Energy-Saving Stove'. It also has the five-level ClearSkies certification, which means it produces significantly lower emissions than traditional open fires (see the tech table below).

This model comes with an airwash that has been heated to assist in keeping the glass clear, and it is also upgradeable to Autoblaze that allows it to light automatically using an air jet.

The stove comes with an angled combustion system, and dual-position riddling grates to ensure a more efficient combustion. It can handle a huge amount of wood and is designed to be environmentally friendly thanks to its low emissions and energy efficiency of up to 80.3 per cent. It is easy to maintain with simple controls and an easily accessible shaker grate.

This ESSE wood-burning stove is an elegant English cottage design and a large view of the flames through the glass. It can be used as a front-flue or a back-flue wood burning stove.
